Attorney Satterwhite is a Board member for the Lynn Community Connections Coalition. Lynn Community Connections Coalition is a small non-profit organization whose mission is to strengthen family support systems in neighborhoods throughout the City of Lynn and surrounding areas to prevent child abuse and neglect.
Lynn Community Connections Coalition promotes a planning framework that is prevention-focused, is collaborative and builds upon the strengths and diversity within our neighborhoods.

Attorney Satterwhite is actively involved with the Volunteers of America Organization. Michael is a 17 year volunteer with the organization. Attorney Satterwhite is involved with all aspects of the "I Remember Mama" Luncheon.
Each year, staff and volunteers from Volunteers of America work with local housing and non-profit agencies to invite elderly women to enjoy a day of companionship, brunch, entertainment, and gifts.

The Satterwhite Law Firm, P.C. participated in the 2014 Revere's Interact Job Shadow/Mentor Day.
Interact Clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary Clubs (Revere High School is sponsored by the Revere-East Boston Rotary Club) which provide support and guidance, but the clubs are self-governing and self-supporting. The club draws membership from the student body of Revere High School.
Each year, the Interact club completes numerous community service projects, one of which furthers international understanding and goodwill. Through these efforts, Interactors develop a network of friendships with local and overseas clubs and learn the importance of:
- Developing leadership skills and personal integrity
- Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others
- Understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work
- Advancing international understanding and goodwill

The Satterwhite Law Firm, P.C. participated in the 2014 Law Day in the Schools, with the Boston Bar Association and Boston Public Schools. This year, 87 volunteers brought the program to 50 classrooms in 9 different Boston Public Schools to teach over 1,300 students of all ages about “Why Every Vote Matters.”

Attorney Satterwhite is a Walk to End Lupus Now Boston Committee Member. The Lupus Foundation is the only national organization that provides direct services to people with lupus. In addition, they fund important research that will one day lead to a cure for lupus. This is now more important than ever, since it's been 50 years since a new drug was approved by the FDA to specifically treat lupus.
